George Maple | Talk Talk (Moon Boots Remix) [Change Request ReVision]

For this ReVision, I wanted to create a more dance floor friendly version of an already stellar remix, taking a long run for the listener and creating a more dance floor centric interpretation.

George Maple's “Talk Talk” was her first track that got three official remixes commissioned and the Moon Boots Remix was the first one to come out in 2015.

The tune itself features quintessential compositional approaches and sound design techniques that Pete Dougherty would later become well known for, informing his euphoric approach to dance floor delights as Moon Boots.

Rearranging the entire tune, I added more spatial effects for transitional purposes, programmed a much more vivacious rhythm section, and turned this remix I might play once and a while into something I will play often.
