George Schultze is “very optimistic” about markets and anticipates 1-2 rate cuts this year. With GDP growing above trend and moderate inflation, he thinks 2026 looks “pretty good,” making sell-offs interesting opportunities. He’s looking at companies that are coming out of distress for opportunities, including MBIA (MBI) and Flagstar (FLG), both financial companies that are resolving major business issues.
