Main Question: Why should we humbly submit ourselves to God’s purposes?

• Since God’s purposes will come to pass, we must be willing to bend or be ready to be broken.
• God sees through our excuses.

Main Idea: With our words, we will either speak life or spew death.

Main Question: What is it that determines whether or not we speak life or death?

• Those who have life speak life, but those who are spiritually dead speak death.
• Your life will mirror your speech.

Revelation 10:1-11

Main Idea: Evil gains traction when the church fails to take action.

Main Question: What actions must the church take to prevent wickedness from prospering?

• We must submit ourselves to the standard of the Word or else be conformed to the standard of the world.
• We must go to war against the kingdom of darkness.

Revelation 9:7-16

Main Idea: Our labor in the Lord brings glory to God, but laziness is an act of rebellion against God.

Main Question: How can we glorify God in our labor and avoid laziness?

• God’s kingdom advances through laborers, not leeches.
• God’s people resemble the ants, not the sloths.
• Holiness doesn’t just happen.
