Main Idea: If we fail to see Jesus for who He is, we will fail to follow Him as we ought.

• Jesus did not come to satisfy our expectations but to fulfill God’s promises.
• Jesus did not come to approve our agendas but to implement God’s agenda.

Main Idea: As God’s people, we must clothe ourselves with the character of Christ.

Main Question: What does it look like to put on the character of Christ?

• Forgiveness is never based on whether or not a person deserves it but on what God has done for us.
• We are called to love people as they are, not as we desire them to be.
• Unless we are guided by peace, we will never be guided to peace.
