John Henry Holliday better known as Doc Holliday, was born in Griffin GA August 14, 1851. A dentist by trade, he was also a gambler, occasional gunfighter, and close friend and associate of Wyatt Earp. Holliday is best known for his role in what is known as the Gunfight at the OK Corral.

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities provides treatment and support services to people with behavioral health challenges due to addictive diseases. Director of the Office of Addictive Diseases, Cassandra Price, talks about their programs.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association, older Black Americans are twice as likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than White Americans. They’re also less likely to receive a timely diagnosis, with many receiving a diagnosis much later in the disease, when medical needs are greater. Dr. Carl Hill, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at the Alzheimer's Association, discusses these findings.
