On 1 November 2014 the Georgian Army took over the force protection of Bagram Air Field. It marks an important contribution from the Georgians since they began supporting the NATO mission in Afghanistan in 2004. This piece is filmed at Bagram Air Field, and documents some of the ceremony, and includes interviews with the Deputy Chief of General Staff for Georgia, and the interpreter and liaison officer for Georgia’s 51st Light Infantry Battalion taking over force protection.
