The story of Gerald Cotten is either one of a very sad tragedy...or one of the greatest scams ever pulled off. 

When Gerald suddenly died while on his honeymoon, a lot of people were shocked, he was young, wealthy, and seemed like a great person. As information came out about his company, people began learning that Gerald was the only person who had access to over $250 million, which belonged to his clients and investors. 

The next question that came up...what happened to the money? 

This led a lot of conspiracy theories, to include that Gerald faked his death and took the money.
