I used to hesitate, too, until I attended a soccer game (Schalke 04 - Glück auf!) and the crowd taught me the importance of "Danke" and "Bitte."

You don't need to speak any German to take this class, it's all in English, and if you want you can learn some German vocabulary words.
I'll be your host for this class and Adam Knoerzer of Burghundy, LLC is the teacher, he is 100% fun, 0% wine snob, and this will be a very interactive class.
No boring, talking head Zoom session here--you get to ask all your questions, groan at all my terrible wine puns, and meet some fantastic new people.
If you can't get this exact wine, it's OK, simply ask in your local wine shop to recommend a similar wine. Pay no more than $20--you'll be just fine!

In August I visited friends in Ohio and their area is also Amish country. We visited Behalt, an Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center, and I got to speak German with an Amish man.
I got to speak German with an Amish man!!!
I also learned that:
most people have no clue about the Amish and Mennonite people.
most of what we (think we) know about the Amish and Mennonite is incorrect.
the Amish speak no Dutch!
they're also not from Pennsylvania.
they don't all speak Pfälzisch. Really!

It did my heart and soul a lot of good to speak German with a native speaker again. I hope you enjoy hearing about it.
