This week on the show, I'm joined by a Canadian record holder in the 400mh Sage Watson. Originally from medicine hat, AB, Canada sage from an early sage showed that she had a mental toughness that the average kid didn't have. She grew up on a ranch where she had to help raise animals of all kinds. however, she learned many lessons during that time that helped when she stepped on the track. Sage immediately made a name for herself as she accepted a scholarship to attend Florida State University where she went on to be one of the top athletes in the conference. In 2016 she transferred to the University of Arizona and in that same year she went on to represent Canada at the Rio Olympic Games where she had a strong finish in the open 400mh and anchored the 4x4 team Toba 4th place finish. The next year in 2017 she became the NCAA 400mh hurdle champion earning all-American honours in the process. Later that year At the 2017 World Championships, Watson finished sixth in the world in the 400mh. 2019 at World Championships in Doha, Sage broke the 400mh Canadian record that stood since 1996 running a time of 54.32.

Sage has exceeded all expectations, she's a champion on and off the track. She's a great model for anyone who is trying to achieve their dreams.
