A "D" for Don't Bother Reading

Another "investing for beginners" book that is void of valuable content; this book reads like a generic pamphlet consisting of copy and paste search engine results. A definition here and brief explanation there amounted to a waste of my time. There are much better introductory books, online courses, and websites, like investopedia.com, where newbies can learn about investing. The description reads, "Learn How To Invest Like The Pros," but this book doesn't offer rich insights into professional investment strategies or much else.

Some of the information is actually misleading. For example, the mysterious author states, "Stockbrokers come in two flavors: full-service and discount. As the name implies, a full-service broker provides much more in the way of service, but it only deals with higher net-worth clients. It's common to see minimum account sizes of $ 25,000 and up at full-service brokerages." The author is confused because high (not higher) net worth clients/individuals are usually considered to have investable assets of one million dollars or more. So, if full-service brokers only deal with "higher net-worth clients" as the author suggest, why would account minimums start at $25,000? Perhaps stating $250,000 as an account minimum would be more consistent with the author's argument. Also, full-service brokers do not limit themselves to only dealing with "higher net-worth clients." That's nonsense!

Finally, it's obvious this was written by a non-native English speaker or editing and proofreading were skipped. There are too many spelling, grammatical, and punctuation mistakes for a book containing fifty pages.

A strategic start, reading Investing for Beginners

I am a happy go lucky type of person but as time passes I have been thinking of delving to investing but I am lost, I don't know where to begin.. I researched on the web a lot but this title here set it straight. In the book once you started investing you let it all go your money, your time and emotions you cut it all off. You must trust your decision because if you didn't why invest in the first place? Investing comes with a little gambling; this not only teaches you about how to be a smart when investing

but becoming cunning and fearless not withholding yourself from the possibilities of achieving your financial freedom and learning, knowing how and where to invest is a good start and this title helped a lot in clearing my reservations and doubts.

This service eliminates problems consumers encountered in locating proper mailing addresses and customer support telephone numbers of the three bureaus, plus the proper format in providing the required personal information, and in full disclosure, the author is a principal in the organization providing that service.
