Addictive, Unique, and Erotic!

Evangeline Anderson has got an imagination, and it shines through clearly in each Brides of Kindred story. The world building is some of the best I've listened too in Sci-Fi romances, and she did an amazing job creating alien technology, foods, and unique characters, with special abilities and customs from worlds far beyond anything I could ever think up. In addition to the vivid, and descriptive universe, she brings a fresh plot, that's full of suspense, drama, lust, and really hot sex scenes! Each story is truly a journey and an adventure for the characters.

Like the other stories, I did enjoy this one; however, at times the story seemed to drag on a bit and I started to get tired of listening to Xairn and his fears of hurting Lauren. Xairn has saved Lauren from fate worse than death, and vows to return her safely back to earth. However, he's developed deep feelings for Lauren, but even after breaking free from his people and the "AllFather", he's afraid of ever mating with Lauren as he fears he will hurt her due to his dominate instincts and special mating urges. Lauren trusts Xairn and knows he would never hurt her, so she begins breaking down his walls.

I had change in narrator blues.. I really missed Anne Johnstonbrown. Jodie Bentley did an decent job narrating; however, this is a series I think would be awesome for a dual m/f narrator team.

Worth a credit? Yes! These stories are erotic, sexy, vivid and told from multiple POV's.

Where does The Demon and the Emperor rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

Definitely one of the best. Both Yamila Abraham's story and Klaus von Hohenloe's narration are exceptional. The narrator does an excellent job doing different voices to distinguish between the characters.

What does Klaus von Hohenloe bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Klaus von Hohenloe really brings the characters to life. I had no idea anybody could make their voice go from sexy demon seme to delicate uke so convincingly. The narration certainly improved my enjoyment of the book immensely.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This one will definitely make you blush! Klaus von Hohenloe is an amazing narrator, particularly in the more...intimate scenes of the book.

Lavishly erotic

Another fantastic book by Yamila's that grabs close and doesn't let go. Not only are there a many side plots, but everything culminates into a delicious twist sure to leave you squirming in delight.

Erotic, though at times cringe worthy

Fairly standard yaoi fantasy fare with insta-love and sexy/awkward stuff galore. Oh and a war but that's not really why you'd be listening to this book now is it?

The demon, who's name I wont even attempt to spell, recalling his time in his realm.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Not particullarly, it was nice to pick over a couple of days.

The voice talent for this audiobook is one hell of a trooper, entertaining, and can make even the most cringe worthy yaoi dirty talk (its the bane of the genre we all must endure) more sultry than off putting.

A most smexy yaoi-themed fantasy romance!

"The Demon and the Emperor" is a fantastic male/male romance between a beautiful young Emperor, Dianese, and his delightfully virile demon suitor, Rodukjo, the "Master of 10,000 Armies." The story is riveting, the characters fascinating, and the love scenes beautifully passionate as well as explicit.

Ms. Abraham did a superb job crafting a romance between a mortal sovereign and a powerful demon. The chemistry between these two men was a delight to behold, and the story came to a satisfying conclusion.

Cuckolding has been a huge fantasy for me. I've tried other Cuckold audiobooks and for the most part they've been rather disappointing. Flat and uninspired. Tonight She's Yours on the other hand is brilliant and worth every penny. My wife and I both enjoyed this very much.

One of my favorite Audiobooks ever. I loved Tami Flowers story but my absolute favorite story was ""My Darling Cuck Hubby" by Erin Pem. I must have listened to that one at least 10 times. I might go listen to it again.

What did you like best about this story?

Just good quality, well told stories. Cuck stories tend to be really silly. These were fun and light but still well crafted and sometimes quite touching.

What made the experience of listening to DDlg Volume 1: The Best of Daddy Dom and Little Girl Roleplay the most enjoyable?

Apart from the excellent DDlg stories, I love the performance the narrator gives. It's almost like he's there in the room with you.

The stories read like a monologue, and when performed by the author/narrator, feel like you're partaking in BDSM role-playing. The Grey Knight simply makes the characters come alive, and they're sexy with a low, growling voice. Simply delicious.

Who was your favorite character and why?

The Daddy Dom in the story "Princess Day". He makes me feel like when I've done something naughty and gotten away with it.

Most definitely. I have listened a few times, whether for pleasure or for trying to make sense of the dynamic between individuals involved in this sort of play, or for both. This stands up to repeated listening quite well.

What other book might you compare DDlg Volume 1: The Best of Daddy Dom and Little Girl Roleplay to and why?

In audio erotica, this would be most like the BDSM set from the same author. In general, though, it reminds me of The Collected Stories of Colette. Each is a little world unto itself, and the power play and actions referenced in the stories are one more way to explore the intimate relationship between two people. There is explicit sex, yes, but there is sweetness, and bitterness, and despair, and hopeful tenderness.

What does The Grey Knight bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I think DD/lg stories as a whole are made to be listened to, not read in print. The dynamic is about giving up control, not keeping it, and not being in charge of the speed, pacing, intonations, and such makes the storyline more powerful. Lying back and listening to a commanding deep voice take control? Nothing else like it, especially for erotica.

Awesome, well written, well read.

This Audio-Book is exactly what it says, a group of short stories of erotica that very enjoyable to listen to, get turn on by, or just wiishful thinking by and for lesbian. This book was written for, about, and too, real lesbian. Is it like what most lesbian are like, NO! So if you fantasize, find something more boring for real live lesbians. If you are a lesbian and want ideas or fantasy. Read this book. I personally loved it. I have not had a partner in decades, am past old with MS, listen is my only pleasure,- and yes the old and crippled still dream about the past when they Could dance and hold a woman.

You Can Stop at One

There are four different stories featured in this audiobook, but as far as I'm concerned they could have stopped at one. The other three are mediocre at best; the second and third selections are trite and formulaic examples of erotic lesbian romance. The forth story is the shortest of the four, it begins as BDSM erotica but quickly becomes another lesbian love story. I'm not a bondage fan so the thematic change wasn't a huge downer, but neither was it an appreciably impressive story. Then there's the narrator; her voice is good but she read all four stories as if she were auditioning for employment at a 1-900 line.

Disappointing

Voices OK but story was teenage. will not be buying any more of these books.

Enjoyable erotica

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Audiobook consists of 3 "longer" short stories and 1 regular. Each story is quite different from the others, but what they all have in common, is romance with erotic scenes: not full on erotica! I was particularly drawn to the An Old Friend; loved Ty's sideline role and the main character Jade was adorable. Women Meeting Woman had good twists and Play was a bit of a fetish romance. Overall, a great selection of erotic romance stories, without being too crude.

Liked but a little slow at first and has BDSM!

I really liked it for the most part but beware it is several chapters in before the H and h even meet so the first several chapters were a little slow for me - just Ford running all around town oddly which was boring to me. Therefore, for me, it didn't draw me in right away. And I will say I am not at all interested in BDSM and this has it. I hated the whole "pets" thing - and no we are not talking about four legged pets. That part was very degrading to women in general. With all that, I am surprised I gave the story four stars but it is because I liked the book after the H and h met - up until then, not so much. I downgraded it to four for the first part of the book. I considered giving it three just due to the BDSM and the pets thing but the rest kind of made up some for that.

The performance was fine so no problem there.

Troy Duran is Outstanding!

Ford is simply the most intriguing and complex character I have read. to have this book on audio only enhanced the intrigue. perfect inflection on the narration to show the change in mood/emotion of the scene and characters. Troy Duran also did a great job of narrating for the female character. loved this audiobook!

Everyone hates Ford at first,but just get to know him...

I Loved this book, but I love Ford more. You will too as you try to get to know him. He is sexy, sensitive, and falls in love surprising himself and those around him.
