Great storyteller.
Love and War
Loved the book and the many accounts of strange and "expensive" situations that people intwine themselves in, all in the name of love or the chase for money. If people gave as much thought to who they were marring as they give to a car purcahse, if they were realistic and could judge character better, and if there was no such thing as greed, divorce law would come to a grinding halt and people would avoid a bundle of headaches and save a lot money. Alas, people aren't that circumspect and that's when Jerry Nissenbaum and his fellow divorce lawayser come into play.
Going through it
While in the library a few weeks ago, this book just seemed to jump off the shelf and yell, "Read me!" I am attempting to modify child support and I was so impressed with Mr. Nissenbaum's book that I am buying three copies: one for me, one for my attorney and one for my ex-husband's attorney. Mr. Nissenbaum has so much respect and understanding for the stay at home mom who has devoted her life to her family and her husband's career. I probably wouldn't have believed this book to be true if I wasn't experiencing similar issues.

Amazing, shocking and entertaining...
Written by an attorney who would be entertaining to watch in action along with his office staff. These hard to believe stories are told with humor and a straightforwardness even when all characters are coming at each other from so many different angles. The book is full of provocative character studies which continue to linger in my thoughts...
