Hard to Put Down, Great Book!
I read the sample chapters to this book, first time reading this author, and I was hooked! For once, the cover didn't grab my attention, and from the way that Luca "towered" over Patience the cover doesn't do the story justice. I read this book in two sittings, I tried for one sitting but it kept me up WAY past my bedtime so I had to put it down. The very next day I picked it up though and HAD to see what happened next.
I have to be careful with romance novels because some books look innocent and then the romance gets too physical for my comfort. NO WORRIES with Seeking Patience, these characters barely kiss as they resolve the chaos around them! It was weird that a few times she wakes up to find him in the room with her, but he really is a gentleman despite barbaric reputation he holds.
I truly loved Amelia and her banter with both Patience and Luca, she was fun to read about. There are two twists in the story, one didn't surprise me, the other left me wishing Luca would give Crispin a good beating. Never happened but a girl can wish. Marko was horrifying and a well written villain FOR SURE. When Luca learns the truth about his past, I was VERY pleased!
It was a true delight how Luca and Patience meet, become friends and then fall in love. I was feeling down and this book gave me a happy sigh. I liked this book so much, I bought the ebook.

Cultrue Conflict
