  • "I Will Only Interact with You Based on Your Love, Not My Need" - Jason Clark on the Father's Measureless Love

What if desperation is not the high watermark of spiritual maturity - but actually a sign of a dysfunctional relationship with God?

That's the question relational theologian and storyteller Jason Clark brings to this extraordinary episode of Supernatural Prayer Stories - and the answer he discovered through two of the most raw, real, and ultimately liberating seasons of his life.

STORY 1 - THE HIDDEN YEARS

Nineteen years ago, while out for a run with life going beautifully, Jason heard his heavenly Father say: "Jason, I'm going into hiding, and I'm removing all your friends." What followed was two years of silence, a collapsed construction business, and 18 months without being able to pay the mortgage. In the middle of it, driving his two-year-old daughter through Charlotte - she calling stop signs "octagons" and the restaurant "Fat Bamito" - Jason cried out to God between her observations and had a sudden epiphany: "I'm intimate with her language, but I'm teaching her mine. Maybe God has better language for me."

Two years later, out for another run, the tap turned back on. God took Jason back to a moment at Bible college when a woman named Sister Sylvia had prayed over him: "You feel like a spiritual dwarf, but God sees you as a spiritual giant." Jason had wept then - the ugly, embarrassing kind - because he wanted it to be true but didn't believe it. Now God said: "Before the foundations of the earth, I have seen you in Christ. You can keep living insecure and desperate - or you can decide to agree with me today." And then: "Hey Jason, am I a good Father? Then if there's dysfunction in our relationship, it's not on my end."

Jason prayed what he calls the most transformative prayer of his life: "From this moment forward, I will only interact with you based on your love - not based on my need."

STORY 2 - THE TIRE, THE $1,000, AND THE TIMES TWO LOVE

Still in the aftermath of the hidden years - $200 to his name, dangerous tires, driving three hours to a conference where he felt completely invisible - Jason refused to pray desperate prayers. Instead: "Father, you're aware of this, and I trust in the measureless nature of your love that you'll provide." The front driver's side tire blew in the Walmart parking lot as he handed over his keys. The attending said: "You've got somebody driving with you, man." A stranger pulled his truck onto the sidewalk and handed Jason an envelope - exactly $1,000. And while laughing about the tire getting every last inch it was designed for, Jason told God: "I want you to feel about me at the end of my life the way I'm feeling about that silly tire right now." God interrupted him immediately: "Son, since before the foundations of the earth, I felt that about you. Well done. It's already yours."

    PLUS IN THIS EPISODE:

    - The "times two" game with his five-year-old daughter and why it became his picture of the gospel

    - Why desperation in a child-father relationship is dysfunction - not devotion

    - The "ultimate prophecy" download he received at a conference and why it's nothing but Scripture

    - John 10:14-15 and the revelation that Jesus gave us not just His joy and peace - but His position with the Father

    - Why tacos are a universal love language and why everything good happens around a table

  • Jesus Actually Promised to Reveal the Father to You — Are You Letting Him? | He's Better Than You Think (S4E4)

What if the reason knowing God feels so hard isn't a discipline problem, a faith problem, or a prayer problem — but simply that you didn't know Jesus already promised to fix it?

In this revelation-rich episode of Face to Face with God, Rick Osborne digs into one of the most overlooked passages in all of Scripture — Matthew 11:25-30 — and uncovers layer after layer of gold that most believers have read right past for years. Because this passage isn't primarily about having a childlike attitude. It's about what Jesus personally committed to do for every one of His own: reveal the Father.

Rick opens with a reframe that changes everything. When Jesus says the Father has "hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children," He's not contrasting attitudes — He's contrasting covenants. The wise and understanding are those still in Adam, trying to figure God out on their own. The children are God's children — returned to the Father through Christ, with Jesus Himself appointed as the one who reveals the Father to them.

    In this episode Rick unpacks:

    • Why Matthew 11:27 — "no one knows the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him" — is not about being specially selected, but about Jesus taking on the task of revealing the Father to everyone who comes to Him
    • The stunning connection between Matthew 11:28-30 and Exodus 33 — where Moses begs God to reveal His ways, asks to see His glory, and God answers: "My presence will go with you and I will give you rest" — the exact same rest Jesus promises in Matthew 11
    • Why "the cleft of the rock" where God hid Moses isn't just a physical location — it's a prophecy of you in Christ, yoked with Jesus, covered and revealed simultaneously
    • How John 1:18 — "No one has ever seen God... but He has made Him known" — means Jesus is literally doing right now, as your high priest, what He's always been appointed to do: take the cover off the Father for you
    • Why the struggle to know God, hear His voice, and sense His presence is often not a failure of effort — it's a failure to ask Jesus to do what He already promised
    • What it means practically to "yoke yourself with Christ" — not as a metaphor for hard work, but as an invitation into the same rest Moses longed for and Jesus now provides

And then Rick does something simple and powerful: he stops and invites every listener — whether watching live or years later on recording — to quietly tell Jesus "From now on, I want to yield to you as you reveal the Father to me."

Because the Father wants a relationship with you more than you want one with Him. He didn't just provide the way. He provided the teacher. And that teacher is still working.

You don't need to grope around trying to get God's attention. He's already arranged everything. Ask Jesus to show you the Father — and then get out of the way.

  • Born on Iran's Bloodiest Day — Now Fueling the World's Fastest Growing Underground Church | Lana Silk — Supernatural Prayer Stories

What if God chose the darkest day in a nation's history to birth the very person He would use to bring it light?

Lana Silk was born on Black Friday 1978 — the deadliest day of the protests that turned Iran into an Islamic theocracy. At seven she was preaching the gospel from her balcony to strangers on the street below. At ten her family fled — not to escape, but because God told them He needed them to serve Him from outside the borders. Today, as President and CEO of Tranzform Iran, she helps fuel a revival that has grown from fewer than 500 Muslim background believers before the Revolution to an estimated 3 to 7 million Christians inside Iran today.

In this episode Lana shares two remarkable stories — the baptism that became an unexpected commissioning the same day a beloved Iranian church leader was martyred, and the moment her 10-year-old daughter pointed across a room full of adults and called out a man too scared to deliver a prophetic word God had given him — a word that turned out to be Lana's answer to prayer about her calling.

She also pulls back the curtain on what's actually happening inside Iran right now — and why the harder the regime presses down, the faster the church grows.

Jesus is appearing to Iranian Muslims in dreams and visions. They're finding Him. And Lana's ministry is on the other end of the phone when they call.

  • You Are the Temple — God Was Never Meant to Live in a Building | He's Better Than You Think (S4E3)

What if everything you envied about the Old Testament — the pillar of fire, the cloud of glory, the Ark of the Covenant blessing everything it touched — was never the destination? What if it was always just a picture of you?

In this revelation-packed episode of Face to Face with God, Rick Osborne builds on the series theme — He's Better Than You Think — with one of the most expansive teachings yet: God was always supernatural, He is always supernatural, and He never intended to express that supernatural nature in a building, a tabernacle, or an ark. He intended to express it in you — as a partner, a co-laborer, a friend walking with Him exactly the way Adam walked with Him in the garden.

Rick opens with a stunning reframe of Jesus's prayer life — not as something uniquely available to the Son of God, but as the exact model He left us. Because Jesus didn't come to demonstrate what God could do. He came to demonstrate what we could do, filled with the Spirit, partnered with the Father, carrying His glory.

    In this episode Rick unpacks:

    • Why John 10:14-15 is one of the most staggering promises in Scripture — Jesus saying His sheep know Him in the exact same way He knew the Father
    • The story of Obed-Edom and what happened when the Ark of the Covenant sat on his property — his livestock, his farm, his family, everything supernaturally blessed — and why you are now the Ark
    • What Genesis 2:19 reveals about how God always intended prayer to work: not petition, but partnership — God bringing the task, Adam doing it with Him, side by side
    • Why the last verse of the Book of Mark is one of the most overlooked promises in the New Testament — "the Lord working with them and confirming the word by accompanying signs" — and why that pattern hasn't changed
    • How Isaiah 4-5 prophesied the cloud by day and pillar of fire by night — not over a building, but over assemblies of believers — and why the word for "canopy" in that passage is literally the marriage canopy, pointing to the bride of Christ
    • Why Ananias — described simply as "a disciple" — received a crystal-clear vision of Jesus with specific instructions and didn't even act like it was unusual. Because it wasn't supposed to be.
    • Why Rick can close his eyes in worship and be in God's presence within seconds — not because he's special, but because he understands whose temple he is

This isn't a message about striving for supernatural experiences. It's a message about waking up to what you already carry. The tabernacle was always a picture of you. The cloud was always pointing to you. The Ark was always pointing to Jesus in you.

Stop looking back at the Old Testament and wishing. You are what it was pointing to.

  • He's Better Than You Think — The Cross Reveals The Father’s Heart | Face to Face with God (S4E2)

What if everything you thought you knew about God — the distance, the judgment, the sense that you have to earn His attention — was actually just a wound you've been projecting onto the Father?

In this deeply personal and theologically rich episode of Face to Face with God, Rick Osborne unpacks one of the most transformative truths in all of Scripture: God didn't send Jesus just to get you forgiven. He sent Jesus to bring you home — to restore you to the Father who has been pursuing you since the garden, and who rejoices with His whole heart in doing you good.

Rick opens with John 14:6-7 and shows why "I am the way, the truth, and the life" isn't just a salvation verse — it's an invitation into the Father's house. Then he walks through Hebrews 8, Jeremiah 32, and 2 Corinthians 6 to show that what God was always saying to Israel — "I will be your God and you will be my people" — was always pointing to this: "I will be a Father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me."

    In this episode Rick covers:

    • Why "born again" means so much more than a ticket to heaven — you were born of incorruptible, imperishable seed, and that makes you an actual son or daughter, not just an adopted outsider
    • The difference between the Old Covenant God people experienced and the New Covenant Father you actually have — and why confusing the two keeps you hiding in the garden
    • Why God never turns away from doing you good — not when you sin, not when you fail, not when you feel furthest from Him
    • What Jeremiah 32 reveals about a Father who rejoices — with all His heart and all His soul — in fathering you in your business, your marriage, your parenting, your everyday life
    • A personal story from Rick's childhood — a broken boat, a hammer, a nail too big, and the moment the heavenly Father showed him what His own dad couldn't

And then Rick prays. Not a closing formality — a genuine, tender prayer for healing of the father wounds that keep so many believers from receiving what's already theirs.

You don't need to earn His attention. You don't need to perform for His approval. He's already home, already waiting, already rejoicing — in you.

  • Her Friend Was Dying of Cancer. The Prayer Healed HER Brain Tumor. | Dr. Pamela Pyle

What does it look like when a physician prays for her dying friend and her own brain tumor disappears instead?

Dr. Pamela Pyle is a board-certified physician who has spent more than three decades walking people through some of life's hardest moments. She helped transform a barren piece of African land into a thriving hospital, seminary, and school serving more than 17,000 children. She is the bestselling author of Anticipating Heaven. She has spoken at the National Prayer Breakfast and the Museum of the Bible, and served alongside John Maxwell. But as Rick puts it on the show, Dr. Pam has spent her life standing where heaven and humanity meet. In this conversation she opens up two supernatural prayer stories that explain how she got there.

    In this episode:

    • Her husband Scott's accident, the dark cold place his soul was being pulled toward, and the only Scripture he knew that he cried out: "Every knee will bow, every tongue will confess"
    • Scott waking up days later so radically saved that Pam, a physician, made him submit to neuropsych testing — and the neurologist who told her, "I do believe he had a spiritual experience"
    • A beach, Larry Crabb's book God of My Father, and the prayer Pam whispered: "Jesus, I just need a little bit of Your peace"
    • The rain shower of peace that poured over her — "Jesus saved me. He saved even me."
    • Her dear friend Rhonda dying of appendiceal cancer, Pam's own undiagnosed brain tumor she never told Rhonda about, and the three-person prayer circle that changed everything
    • The heat that rose from Pam's heart to her head mid-prayer, and Rhonda's mother turning: "Did you feel that? You've been healed."
    • "It was their prayers that saved me when they didn't even know I needed saving."
    • What Anticipating Heaven reveals about dying patients — near-death awareness vs. terminal restlessness, and what those two medical diagnoses are really telling us
    • Praying salvation over the dying, even unconscious — because medically we know they can still hear
    • Pam's daily "anticipation time" — and the one question she's never been turned down on: "Is there anything I can pray for you?"

    Notable quotes:

  • The Secret to Experiencing God Like Jesus Did — What It Really Means to Be In Christ | S4E1

What if the gap between you and God isn't as wide as you've always thought — what if it doesn't exist at all?

In this powerful series opener, Rick Osborne unpacks one of the most overlooked phrases in all of Scripture — and it changes everything. In John 10:14-15, Jesus says His sheep know Him just as the Father knows Him. Not almost. Not eventually. JUST AS. The same level. The same quality. The same depth of relationship that Jesus had with the Father when He walked this earth — given to you.

Rick opens with a vision that set the trajectory for this entire series — Jesus standing in a heavenly study before the most ornate and beautiful book he had ever seen. His personal copy of the Word, filled with His own notes, revelation, and understanding of every verse. And then Jesus closed it, turned, and handed it to Rick. "Anything you want me to teach you from this book, I will reveal it to you."

The first thing Rick asked for? What it truly means to be IN CHRIST.

In this episode Rick unpacks the download he received — a revelation that took decades to find and minutes to transform everything:

You were born in Adam. You had no choice. Sin, separation, and spiritual poverty were your inheritance by default. But when you were born again, God didn't just forgive you and patch up the old version — He gave you an entirely new birth. Not of corruptible seed, but incorruptible. The very same seed that was placed in Mary. Born again into the life of Christ.

It's not the death of Christ that defines you — it's His LIFE. Galatians 2:20 isn't primarily about the cross. Paul is talking about the Christ life that now lives IN you. His peace. His joy. His righteousness. His mind. His wisdom. His strength. His position before the Father. Not a lesser version. Not a copy. The real thing — given to you by grace, the same way Adam's nature was given to you by default.

And that changes prayer forever. John 15:7 says if you abide in Christ and His words abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it will be done. Rick walks through what abiding actually means — and why so many Christians are still praying from the Adam life instead of the Christ life.

This episode ends with one of the most moving moments of the series — Rick inviting listeners to close their eyes and imagine themselves in that place before the Father. Not Jesus before the Father. You. In that same position. With that same access. That same easy hearing. That same expectancy that what you pray is going to happen.

Key quote from Rick: "Jesus never struggled in His relationship with God and never struggled to see the answers to His prayers. Imagine yourself in that position. You've already been given it."

What listeners will gain: A completely new understanding of what it means to be IN CHRIST, why the Christ life is the breakthrough they've been looking for, and a fresh foundation for a prayer life that actually works — not by trying harder, but by abiding deeper.

  • "Not This Year" — How One Woman's Persistent Prayer Changed a Community | Kim Blackaby — Supernatural Prayer Stories

What happens when a brilliant chemist's mind is attacked by a virus so severe he can't handle light, sound, or even his own thoughts — and the only thing that brings healing is an ordinary antibiotic doctors around the world can't explain?

In this rich and theologically grounded episode of Supernatural Prayer Stories, Rick Osborne sits down with Kim Blackaby — spiritual formation director, longtime friend, and someone who learned to recognize God's voice at the feet of Henry Blackaby, author of the landmark book Experiencing God. Kim married into the Blackaby family and has spent decades living out that legacy across the Canadian prairies, an international church in Norway, and churches throughout British Columbia.

Story One — The Lake, the Northern Lights, and a Calling

As a college student recovering from a broken engagement, Kim reluctantly attended a retreat she didn't want to be at. A message on Luke 4 — Jesus's mandate for ministry — broke something open in her. Alone at a lake afterward, she surrendered completely: "God, I'm your girl. Wherever you want me to go, whatever you want me to do, I'm there." That same night, paddling alone on the water under a dancing, multicolored display of the northern lights reflecting off the surface around her, she felt utterly enveloped in God's love. In the weeks that followed, the Holy Spirit moved with unusual clarity — once interrupting her attention during a campus drama presentation to redirect her toward an old classmate she hadn't seen in years, leading to a gospel conversation that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

Story Two — The Chemist, the Virus, and the Months in the Dark

While living in Norway, Kim and her husband Tom watched a man in their church — a brilliant chemist with patents in the oil industry — fall into a mysterious chronic illness following viral meningitis. He became so sensitive to stimulus that he couldn't tolerate light, sound, reading, or music. He described it as "a sunburn on the inside of his brain." For months he lay in a dark room while his wife managed three small children, including a newborn, in near-silence below. Doctors worldwide had no explanation and no solution. Then, after he contracted an unrelated stomach bug and was given a routine antibiotic, his symptoms vanished within days — something doctors confirmed that antibiotic simply doesn't do. During those long months in darkness, he had also been mentally composing the technical history of his life's chemical research, dictating one paragraph each night to his wife — work that later became a seminal document presented at conferences worldwide.

Story Three — "Not This Year"

Years later, back in Canada during high school graduation season — a time when fatal accidents involving teenagers had become tragically common in her community — Kim felt an unshakable burden: not this year. She mobilized her women's Bible study to pray every time they passed roadside memorial crosses: "Not this year, Lord. Protect them from their own choices, from injury and harm." That year, there were no traffic fatalities involving young people in the community.

    This episode also includes:

    • Rick's wife Luba's similar story of contending in prayer over wildfire season in British Columbia — resulting in the lowest wildfire damage on record
    • A powerful teaching on the difference between petition and declaration prayer, rooted in the Lord's Prayer's "Thy will be done" and Jesus's own pattern of saying "be healed" rather than asking
    • Kim's wisdom for mature believers wrestling with whether they've "outgrown" their local church — and why maturity means showing up to serve, not to be fed
    • A closing prayer specifically for those needing the courage to contend and labor in prayer for what God has placed on their hearts

Sometimes the Holy Spirit acts immediately. Sometimes He calls you to contend.

  • Let Him Be Enthroned on Your Praises — The Final Key to Walking in All of God's Promises | (S3E10)

What if "Amen" isn't just how you end a prayer — but how you start one? And what if saying it correctly could change everything about how you walk in God's promises?

In this powerful series finale of How to Live in All of Father's Promises, Rick Osborne brings the entire journey home with one of the most important — and most overlooked — keys in all of Scripture: the relationship between praise and promise.

Rick opens with a stunning revelation about the word "Amen" itself — the best-known word in human speech, found in virtually every language on earth, unchanged from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English. Why? Because God invented it. And it doesn't just mean "the prayer is over." Rooted in the same Hebrew word as believe and faithful, Amen is an act of praise — a declaration that God, you are faithful to every word you have spoken.

    In this finale, Rick unpacks:

    • Why "Amen" at the beginning of your prayer is more powerful than "Amen" at the end — and how to reframe every conversation with the Father around His faithfulness
    • What Psalm 22 means when it says God is "enthroned on the praises of Israel" — and why your testimony of answered prayer is actually how God proves Himself to the world
    • The Psalm 67 priestly blessing that ties Abraham's covenant directly to your life — and why God wants your neighbors, your nation, and the nations of the earth to see His promises manifested through you
    • The morning and evening rhythm of Psalm 92:2 — a simple daily practice of declaring His steadfast love at sunrise and His faithfulness at sunset that will rewire how you see every day
    • Why praise isn't about twisting God's arm or convincing Him to act — He already delights in doing you good, He never stops, and He's looking for people who will say amen and let Him show off
    • A word of knowledge and healing prayer specifically for people with problems in their feet

This isn't just a closing episode — it's a commission. Rick sends listeners back through the full series with a challenge: don't just hear these things, live them. Collect the promises. Make them the framework of your thinking. Let His ways become your ways. And watch Him be enthroned on your praises.

Know Him. Be transformed by Him. Ask big. Say amen.

  • Stage Four Cancer — Twice. Healed — Twice. | Cindy Cox — Supernatural Prayer Stories

What do you do when the battle you already won comes back twenty years later — and God tells you "Your testimony is not in your healing. That part's already written. Your testimony is in your journey, step by step with Jesus"?

In this deeply powerful episode of Supernatural Prayer Stories, Rick Osborne sits down with Cindy Cox — healing minister, teacher, and founder of Jesus Christ Heals Today Ministries — for one of the most raw, honest, and faith-building conversations the show has ever had. Cindy has faced stage four cancer not once, but twice. And she is healed — twice. But the real story isn't the miracles. It's what happened between the diagnosis and the clean report.

Story One — A Message From God and a Death Sentence On February 13, 2002, Cindy Cox was a 44-year-old mom of three with a dream career, a strong marriage, and no relationship with Jesus — just a religious background she mistook for faith. Then the report came: "Extensive metastasis of melanoma throughout the lymphatic system. Life prognosis: six to nine months."

Six days later, a bold young teacher handed her some healing scriptures she'd never seen. That night, Cindy typed them into her computer and hit save. Instead of her document title, the save box read: "Message From God." Before she could process it, every light in the house went out — no storm, no wind, no reason — plunging her into total darkness at 6 AM. Then the lights came back on. The title was still there.

The next morning at school, that same teacher led Cindy to Romans 10:9-10 in a first-grade classroom while students filed in — and prayed with her as she gave her life to Christ. Within six months, exploratory surgery found not one cancer cell in her body. Her oncologist, flustered and wide-eyed, said simply: "Cancer doesn't just go away. I don't understand." Cindy told him God had healed her. He smiled and said, "I like miracles."

Story Two — Fourteen Areas of Metastasis and Spa Days With God In 2020, the back pain that had been building for months turned into a cascade of urgent tests — X-ray, CT scan, full-body MRI — all within four days. The verdict: stage four lymphoma, metastasized into 14 areas of her body, including both shoulder blades, both shoulder joints, her jaw, ribs, spine, pelvis, femur, knee, and lymph nodes near her left eye.

When Cindy and her husband chose to say yes to chemotherapy and immunotherapy, the enemy immediately flooded her with shame. How could a healing minister choose medicine? But she recognized the voice — and it wasn't God's. Within days, the Father spoke clearly: "Don't be wise in your own eyes. Is your faith in your faith, or in the God of the Word?"

What followed was one of the most unusual cancer journeys you will ever hear. Cindy never looked up her diagnosis. Never researched her medications. Never checked the patient portal. Never asked about side effects. She chose not to. Instead, she walked into every treatment room with her Bible, her healing declarations, her journal, her worship music, and her coffee — and called them her spa days with God. The journals she kept during that season, she says, are among the most precious things she owns.

After four rounds of treatment, the PET scan showed nothing. The bone marrow biopsy came back clear. Then — and only then — she opened the patient portal to see what God had actually done. Cancer had been present in 14 skeletal locations plus soft tissue surrounding her spine plus multiple lymph node sites. Every single one: gone.

Five years later, in April, she was released completely from cancer care.

    This episode also includes:

    • Why the condemnation Cindy felt after choosing medicine was not from God — and how she and her husband knew it immediately
    • The three questions God asked her from Proverbs 3 that settled everything: "Is your faith in your faith, or in the Word? Do you care more about what people think or what I think?"
    • Why she believes God gave her "divine delays" in her first healing — time to grow her heart before the clean bill came
    • Her book Journeying Well — written in the middle of her second battle, raw and real, because God told her not to wait
    • A closing healing prayer for anyone watching who is in the middle of their own impossible situation

The facts changed. The truth stayed the same.
