Stankevitz grew up in Oak Park, Illinois, and realized in sixth grade while playing with future NBA No. 2 pick Evan Turner that writing, not athletics, was his lane. He then pursued journalism at the University of Missouri, interned at Comcast SportsNet Chicago, and pitched Notre Dame coverage that became a career launch amid major storylines.

After later covering the Bears and surviving layoffs, he was laid off in 2021 and soon joined the Colts as team writer, explaining differences between team and external media coverage. He describes how he became the Colts' PA announcer, his game-day routine, admiration for Jim Irsay and his daughters, why he loves Indiana, and shares optimism about the Colts centered on quarterback Daniel Jones and head coach Shane Steichen.

On today's show Dom Miranda and Nate Spangle sat down with DePauw head football coach Brett Dietz, who enters his seventh season with a 51-9 record and discusses why DePauw's people, alumni, tradition, and demanding academics make it special.

Dietz grew up in northern Kentucky, played multiple sports at Hanover, and set a Division III playoff passing record in his final college game. He then pursued pro football through Finland and arena leagues, becoming the only player to win AFL and AF2 Rookie of the Year in back-to-back seasons (2006–07). After the AFL bankruptcy, he worked in banking before joining DePauw in 2010, becoming full-time in 2011 and head coach in 2020, crediting Bill Lynch and a people-first culture for recent championships and playoff progress.

He details the $80 million Blackstock Stadium and Performance Center renovation, set to open in the fall of 2028, and announces where the 2026 Monon Bell Classic between DePauw University and Wabash College will be played in November.

On today's show Dom Miranda sat down with Howard Kellman, Voice of the Indianapolis Indians who debuted with the team in 1974 and has called more than 7,000 games, to talk Indians baseball and Victory Field's 30th anniversary.

Kellman moved from Brooklyn, New York to Indianapolis after sending 110 letters across the country to every minor league team, nearly landed several MLB broadcast jobs in the 1980s, and chose to stay after expanding into local TV calling high school football and basketball games.

He reflects on Victory Field's July 11, 1996 opening, downtown Indianapolis' growth, the club's upkeep approach to the ballpark, and his 2016 in-game heart attack and recovery.

Kellman also revisits the 2000 championship season, the 2015 run to Game 5 of the Governors' Cup championship series, the Indians' MLB affiliates (Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates) since the Vic's 1996 opening, evolving minor-league control, plus notable players and memories from Andrew McCutchen to Gerrit Cole, Paul Skenes, Razor Shines, and more.
