Two people who should be on your radar, that are fighting for animal rights and liberation worldwide, but especially in Ireland, are Laura & Tawnie of NARA Campaigns Ireland. I admire Laura & Tawnie for so many reasons, mostly because they are do’ers’, not say’ers’. If they say they will get fur farms banned in Ireland, you can bet that they will put their blood, sweat and tears into doing so. They give up all of their time to spread their vision and message and do it with such passion, love and energy, in rain, hail, sleet or snow (literally this the truth, as I have seen it first hand on a very snowy day), to bring more education for people when it comes to animal liberation and why it is so important. Regardless of whether you agree with everything they say, you do have to give them your full respect and admiration, as they are out there, trying to make the world a better place, for the most vulnerable who cannot defend themselves. There is a lot to learn from this interview on animal rights and how to lead a more cruelty-free life and hopefully you (like me) can learn something from these two amazing activists!

I am delighted to have Hannah Ryan on the show to talk about all things pilates, health and business.

Shortly after completing a BSc in Event Management, Hannah suffered injuries to both of her wrists. She began a rehab programme where she met with many different professionals. Frustrated by the slow pace and set-backs of recovery Hannah decided to study Neuro-muscular Physical Therapy at NTC.
Gaining a thorough understanding of how to treat herself she began fixing her wrist problems and fell in love with rehab.
Hannah studied Classical Pilates, Barre Pilates and Bone Health Pilates through P.T.T.I. And Rehab Reformer Stott Pilates.
Hannah is also qualified in Orthopedic Sports Massage and Swedish Massage.
As well as being a skilled instructor, Hannah is a talented musician and huge music fan, playing fiddle and singing with Dublin band – ‘Pine the Pilcrow’ performing at many gigs across the country.

Flawless and Pawless was set up with the goal in mind of letting consumers know what companies are cruelty free and vegan and which other ones to avoid. Ailsha also tests out new cruelty free and vegan products, available to the Irish Market and lets her followers know whats what. I was so excited to meet Ailsha and learn from what she had to say and OMG she is just full of so much information on this subject.

Have you ever had someone who from the moment you meet them just inspires you? Grace Rubinger is that person for me. I think she is amazing. She owns and runs Skinfull Affairs, which is a cruelty free & ethical beauty salon based in Dublin and it is wonderful. The treatments, products and general atmosphere the staff create make it such a welcoming place to come to. Having only set up shop on Christmas Eve of 2016, Skinfull Affairs (and Grace) constantly have their eyes set on the bigger picture and introduce new treatments and products to the customers. I hope you enjoy this interview with my #GirlBoss Grace and you are as inspired by her and Skinfull Affairs as I am.

If there is ever someone who radiates a glowing light of happiness and laughs it has to be Dearbhla Mitchell. I had only met Dearbhla 15 minutes before we started the interview (until that point I had just been obsessing over her Instagram) and OMG she couldn’t of been a nicer human. During the interview Dearbhla constantly had me laughing and intrigued by what she had to say. Dearbhla is full of great tips for health, fitness (especially pilates) and overall wellness, along with some great vegan tips thrown into the mix as well.

When I was writing my list of who I would love to have on this show Orla Harrington was one of the first names to be written down. If you follow her on social media, you will know she has one of the sweetest voices and most gentle of personalities around. So when she agreed to be interviewed I was delighted. Orla is someone who, as you will hear on the show, made the personal choice to switch to a more minimalist lifestyle and also to a vegan diet in recent years. Orla regularly shares her tips and recipes on her Instagram and Youtube accounts (see links below).

I am so excited to share this episode with you as Jessica is actually someone who I have had the pleasure and luck of admiring from a not so far distance as she is one of my best friends. I can say with total honesty that this girl is AMAZING!!! Her love for animals and living a cruelty free lifestyle is so strong and so deep rooted. Also Jessica’s thirst for world domination is strong and no better woman for it. This podcast will be a particularly great listen for anyone interested in vegan fitness, body building and entrepreneurship in the fitness world.
