Blizzy Kisses Tissy!

Such a wonderful mystery and perfect for pre-readers and those getting ready to read. Jensen has a very creative personality put to good use while developing this series about Santa's elves. I've ordered "Dizzy" which is in the mail. I just wish that the illustrator would have drawn a picture of Blizzy giving Tizzy a big juicy smack while under the mistletoe!

Elfin mystery story for Christmas

Dorothea Jensen's North Pole elves tend to be spunky and to get into jams. Here a girl elf gets worried about her missing boyfriend -- elfbeau? -- and does some successful detective work, introducing us along the way to the inner workings of Santa's establishment. Any kid would love this poetic bedtime story. A tender bit of mistletoe romance adds to its appeal.

Five Stars

Love this book. It is a great book for children.

My kiddos love this book

My kiddos love this book. I sat it with their other books to see if they'd pick it up. My 7 year old picked it right up without prompting. She loved the story and said she wants to know what else happens! I had her read it to me and it's a really cute story. It's a bit long for my 2 year old, but he has the attention span of a goldfish. Overall, it's a great book addition to our library.

Story & illustrations are great!

The story & illustrations are great! Even grown-ups like this book. This is a great little story for every one.

A Southern Fried Tale of Fun and a Fluffy pup!

This is a really adorable and charming story. It's really easy to follow and I think children would like to read it or have it read to them. It's a simple story on how hush puppies were made, but it's told in a fun, engaging way. The art is also vibrant and colorful. It's visually appealing and I think it'll be something that children will want to look at.

The audio version has the perfect storytelling voice. It's told in a good pace and the narrator sounds really welcoming. I highly recommend letting your child listen to the story being told while they read along, unless, of course, you want to read it to them yourself.

The ending was also a nice touch as it includes a recipe to the hush puppies that were made in the book. With a warning for the child to get their mom or dad, you can either read along with the recipe or have it read to you in the audio version. This is a really good way to pull your children into the story even more.

This is a great children's book that I would recommended to anyone.

What a sweet book!

Love this book for any child! And, the illustrations absolutely MAKE the book! Definitely add it to your child's library.

The book holds a special place in my heart because I am privileged to know Canaan. He truly lives by the heartfelt messages that he creatively exposes in his writing. This book, although written for children has a message for the whole world. Denny is a sweet character that by the end of the story lifts your spirit and makes you want to go out and conquer your dreams. Everyone should have it in their library of books. Thanks Canaan for sharing your vision.
