BACK STORY
After receiving her Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Arizona, she began her lifelong commitment toward fitness and wellness at the world renowned Canyon Ranch Spa in Tucson, AZ. There she discovered her love for teaching water exercise.
Working for many years at sports and fitness clubs, she created Jodi’s Backyard Bootcamp and Flo Jod Run Club and triathlon training, for which she was awarded Elite Trainer and Business Woman of the Year.
Her first book, "Water Exercise by Jodi" was published in April of 2020 and is dedicated to her father who had polio and experienced dramatic results in his balance, muscular strength and endurance for working in the water with her.
Her tenacity and hard work brought her to launch her own gig, Jodi Stokes Fitness, where she goes mobile as a Concierge Fitness Professional, working out with people in their homes, pools and at LifeScape Premier. She has been honored by So Scottsdale Magazine as one of its People to Watch and Voyage Phoenix Magazine as a “Trailblazer” and "Shoutout" 2020. She’s been published in ICONIC LIFE magazine and trains its publisher.
