What happens when people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives choose conversation instead of division?

Just Love began with a friendship.

Madhur and Drew came from very different backgrounds and didn’t always see things the same way. But instead of walking away from difficult conversations, they kept talking, listening, challenging one another, and building trust.

Those conversations eventually helped lead to the creation of Union City Church, a deliberately multiracial church, and later Just Love, an independent nonprofit focused on helping churches, organizations, leaders, and communities pursue reconciliation in practical ways.

Toys for Tots Camden & Charlton: Bringing Christmas to 1,345 Local Kids

Christmas may still be a few months away, but for Toys for Tots, the work starts now.

On Episode 119 of Get ’N’ Your Business, Alison Shores sits down with Michelle and Debbie to talk about the incredible effort behind the Camden and Charlton County Toys for Tots campaign and how the community can help make Christmas brighter for local children.

Last year, the campaign served 1,345 children—265 more than the previous year—and distributed 4,520 toys, 1,246 books, and 2,882 stocking stuffers.

The conversation also addresses many of the concerns being raised locally, including electricity demand, water use, cooling systems, noise, jobs, infrastructure and potential tax revenue.
