Robyn Sandoval started out as anti-gun. In her words: "I spent many years making these arguments in support of gun control. I cried out, 'Enough is enough!' when another senseless murder happened because of a gun. I reviled politicians who were in the NRA’s pockets. I didn’t let my kids play with toy guns. I wanted to end America’s obsession with destruction and start a new generation of we’re-all-in-this-together, rational human beings.
Then I bought a gun."
Today, she is Executive Director of A Girl & A Gun. Tonight Robyn will tell us about her journey from ANTI to ACTIVIST, and why she changed her mind.
Recently a Constitutional Carry bill was heard in committee in the Nebraska Legislature, one of 7 states to introduce such legislation in 2022 (NE, IN, WI, OH, AL, GA, FL). We all know the reasons the proponents of such legislation support it, but what about the OPPONENTS? What are their reasons? Are these people just evil villains, or do they believe that THEY have the moral high ground, just as we do?
Let's talk a little about Constitutional Carry and then discuss how BOTH sides of the debate think they are not only right, but MORALLY right.

Tonight, lets discuss the merits of bumper stickers/t-shirts/social media posts with those cute and funny sayings that so many people dismiss as just good fun, but could potentially land someone in jail. I'm talking about an AR-15 dust cover with the words, "You're F*cked"; a bumper sticker saying, "Keep honking, I'm reloading!"; or a sign by the doorbell that reads, "We don't dial 911."
Most people either smile and laugh at these, or shake their heads and go on about their business. But what if you find yourself on the business end of a murder/manslaughter charge due to a defensive use of your firearm? Are those considered "free speech," or can prosecutors use those against you in court to put you in jail, even after a "justified" use of deadly force?
Join our guests Rob Morse, Michael Woodland, Mike Piwowarski, and some of our usual suspects as we dig into the potential pitfalls of exercising your 1st Amendment rights.

It's that time of year, again! Everyone is posting their "New Year, New Me" posts and deciding which New Year's resolution they plan on breaking first. Me? I'm planning on being the same old loveable GRUMPY OLD MAN that you've come to know and love.
Instead of listing resolutions that most likely won't last as long as the New Year's Eve party hangover, let's take the year out with a discussion of what changes to the laws governing our freedoms we think we are likely to see in 2022, and also the changes that we hope and wish will change.

I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Don't talk about politics or religion." It seems to be a saying dating at least as far back as our grandparents' day. But just how much, exactly, has such a sentiment COST our society?
I think as a whole, our society has lost the ability to have a meaningful conversation regarding politics and religion. They were treated as a social "third rail" for so long, that now in 2021, very few are able to have a true DISCUSSION. Lately politics have been a HOTLY debated topic, but without the ability to DISCUSS, most people simply want to tell you why they are right and you are wrong, regardless of what you say or why you're saying it. Religion has become such a taboo that many are now scared to even pray in public, much less share their convictions or learn about a faith different from their own.
We are joined by Lloyd Bailey of Armed Lutheran Radio, Jake Wiskerchen of Walk The Talk America, and Yehuda Remer, the Pew Pew Jew.
Let's break the social rules and sit down for a discussion about politics and religion. Who knows? We may even find out we can be civil and remain friends afterward!

We see all these new bills/laws being proposed in the name of "common sense." They tell us they're doing it "for our own protection." But nothing they propose would actually keep us safe. Let's discuss what WOULD keep people safe, such as governing all motor vehicles at 30mph, or repealing the 4th Amendment and allowing "Stop & Frisk" across the land.
Of course, we'll also discuss why such laws CANNOT exist here in our Republic.
Join Amanda Suffecool, Rebecca Schmoe, Paul Lathrop, Mike Piwowarski, Dan Wos, Defense Dad, Travis P11, Pat Hersh and me for an absurd but serious discussion. We even went off the rails a bit and discussed the effect of social media and cyber bullying.

Tonight we wrap up Season 2 of the GET OFF MY LAWN! Podcast. We will talk about some possible changes coming in Season 3, discuss sponsorship opportunities, and I will even give viewers a chance to tell us what they would like to see moving forward.
BUT FIRST, I will go over a list of things that offend me! Everyone else gets to take offense at whatever they want, so tonight IT'S MY TURN!

With the recent negligent discharge of a firearm on a movie production set that resulted in the loss of one life and the injury of another person, we are again reminded that just because an actor uses a firearm as a prop for a movie or TV production, that doesn't automatically mean they understand the basic rules of firearm safety and responsibility.
Let's sit down and have an honest discussion of how the landscape of our nation may change if only we would start to require teaching basic firearm safety and responsibility curricula in schools across the land. What would be the pros and cons of such an endeavor?
We try not to focus on news headlines here, because we want to keep the videos relevant for years to come. That said, I believe this topic IS relevant both now and forever, so let's dig into it and see what we find.

Ever since the news broke that the "virus that shall not be named" had "allegedly" escaped from a lab in Wuhan, many Asian and Pacific Islander Americans have faced unfair treatment and outright racism, simply because of the way they look. Top Shot Season 4 winner Chris Cheng is here tonight to shed some light on the hostility facing Asian/Pacific Americans and what they can do to empower themselves against potential violence.
We will also talk about his ongoing NFT auction for a digital RECOIL Magazine cover image.
