We hear time and again from anti-gun activists and politicians that we as firearm owners WANT to kill someone or hunt people. While we firearm owners know that idea is a flat-out LIE, others may not. Responsibly armed citizens do not own/carry firearms because we WANT to take a life, but instead because we choose to defend our own lives. No responsible, reasonable person goes LOOKING for a gunfight, just like no TRUE student of a martial art goes looking for a fistfight.

Let's get all the nonsense out in the open and discuss the TRUTH, in the hopes that we can send the myth that we want to be Batman or the Punisher back to the pages of a comic book, where it belongs.

A lot of social media platforms are in the process of purging what they dub "misinformation" from users' posts. They act as though there is an organized "misinformation campaign" being led by those who don't believe or agree with everything the news and the government say. 

There is an abundance of both misinformation and disinformation floating around the interwebs, about a virus, a shot, our rights, and inanimate objects that go "bang."

I say it is IMPOSSIBLE to intentionally spread misinformation by the very definition of the word. Let's talk about the differences between sharing MIS-information and DIS-information, and the implications for both.

It's inevitable when you have a social media presence that, sooner or later, you'll get some negativity on your page. ESPECIALLY if you're Pro-2A and/or Pro-Freedom. 

As your social media presence grows, the haters and trolls grow proportionately. Some people don't know how to handle this, while others seem to thrive on it. Most of us are somewhere in between. 

Let's talk about our ways to deal with the negativity that is just another part of the online world, and maybe share some healthy options that others haven't thought to try.

Did the Founding Fathers intend the Bill of Rights to be SUBJECTIVE??? Is the 13th Amendment not absolute? WE'RE BACK!! Let's talk about about mainstream firearm owners in America, and then those out on the fringe, and whether THEY have a place in the firearm owner/Pro-2A families. 

Should we pick and choose who should be able to exercise their rights as defined by the 2nd Amendment?

Some people see the world as they think it COULD BE, or as they think it SHOULD BE. The rest of us are forced to look at the world and see it as it really IS.   

How many times have we heard, "If only we could...," or "If only they would..."? While they may be true at face value, these statements are only wishful thinking. Most of us who are Pro-2nd Amendment and Pro-Liberty got this way because we know this world is made up of imperfect people, many of whom have malevolent intentions toward their fellow human beings.  

Let's discuss several of the more popular IF/THEN's and then counter with our own BECAUSE/THEN's.

Every time there is a mass shooting somewhere in the US, two things happen. The "left" defaults to blaming the gun, and the "right" defaults to blaming mental health. What if I told you that BOTH sides are wrong, and the real blame should be placed on the BAD PERSON who committed the crime?
