Get Off My Pitch - A Nashville Soccer Podcast

The day finally arrived.  Homecoming.  The Boys in Gold, the Back Line, and Reese Witherspoon were all there at the inaugural match at Geodis Park where the team drew 1-1 against the visiting Philadelphia Union. John's GOMP is hangry and Eric has made a special connection with a Nashville SC player.  Blake sucks.

Blerg.  A rough 1-0 loss to the LA Galaxy is making the trip back to Nashville most welcome for the Boys in Gold.  John has some helpful advice for MLS in how to keep players safe and Eric has had it with a certain part of the United States.  Also: ***OFF SIDE FLAG***

A somewhat disappointing 2-2 draw at San Jose on the back end of the road trip has the Boys-in-Gold looking forward to opening day at Geodis Park.  John feels like there is an opportunity to change careers and Eric has issues with Nashville weather.  Wondolowski isn't discussed in this podcast.

Another solid gold victory for the Boys in Gold has John and Eric drinking in celebration.  On this episode they talk about what qualifies a player for "Hardest Working".  John and Eric both burn every bridge in a controversial GOMP segment and they are bemused to learn that the team is playing San Jose Quakes (or Earthquakes?).

A fortunate win has the Boys in Gold back to their winning ways.  John has some notes on former USL player hold overs and Eric is critical of FIFA but also kinda wants that FIFA money.  Also Johnny Russell is discussed.

One step closer to Qatar, two of the Boys in Gold join their international sides to see who will be playing in the World Cup.  John talks about how he can put away some Hot Chicken and Eric has fashion advice for a former USMNT star.

Another tough road loss for the Boys in Gold.  John has had it with calls in the box and Eric is surprised by his lunch in Dover, TN.

The Boys in Gold fall 2-0 to FC Dallas down in the great state of Texas.  Could the Podcast be responsible for the loss?  Eric has issues with Paul Ariola's acting choices and John does his best inflatable wavy guy impression.  It's all salty.
