The Hub Fest is coming up!

The Hub Fest will take place at The Hub located 5208 W White Mountain Blvd, Lakeside, AZ 85929 Friday, September 1st, and Saturday, September 2nd. We have lined up for Charlie Melton, a well known SEALS Sniper Trainer to come and teach a long range course the Wednesday and Thursday prior to the Hub Fest. 

It is a 2 day course for $1000. There is a limit of 10, possibly even 6 individuals. Charlie Melton with train you the same way he trained Chris Kyle and Marcus & Morgan Luttrell and other snipers within the SEALS team.

The Point of Ammo

Caliber is the approximate diameter of the bbl

45 cal   .451/1000 of an inch

38 cal / .357

9mm developed in Europe, metric .355 diameter

44 mag  .429 dia

Gauge vs. Bore

Gauge is determined by weight in fractions of a pound of a solid sphere of lead with a dia equal to the inside dia off the bbl

1/12 # ball fits in a 12 gauge bbl so 12 gauge

Except 410 which is a bore size of .410 inches but it would have been a 67 gauge although was at one time called a 36 gauge

While the Get On Target show took a week off, the Ruger was sent back and was returned back on the 20th of July. The magazine button is stronger and the Ruger manufacturer repaired it at no charge. The Point of the Used Gun Score Sheet has now been updated to reflect the repaired Ruger SR-45.

Many buyers are looking for value, but with this like new condition handgun, there's an issue. 

A few highlights/advantages to this Ruger are that you can change the rubber grip, it is a striker fire with no hammer that has a manual 1911 type of thumb safety giving it an advantage to be able to carry it in different ways, and holds 10 - 45 ACP rounds.

In the video you will see two different shots at the range. You will see the magazine fall out of the gun!

If this gun were working properly, the point of the used gun rating would be high, in good standing.

This specific piece will be sent to Ruger so they can inspect and fix the problem.
