Derek Hom talks about quitting his engineering job, building a food trailer (including plumbing, electrical, etc.), learning how to make Belgian Liege Waffles, setting up his business, and selling his waffles and coffee at a brewery just six weeks later. We talk about how this organization was born out of a serendipitous moment with his co-founders Darren and Oie Dobier of Diro Outdoor. The community has embraced this cause and the outlook is bright for adding to their fleet and expanding their services.

Jessica Turtle is back to talk about the recent fire just 74 days after the Grand Opening of the Natural Heritage Art Centre.

We talk about the initial shock of the fire and transition through the many emotions associated with losing something so meaningful so quickly. In addition to the shock, she is left in uncertain territory with the insurance company.
Jessica is resilient. She is putting her energy into her creative talents and is excited about her upcoming public art project at Wild River State Park. She talks about how public art is set up, what the piece will be, and how the community can be a part of the art.
