Never cheesy, never understated, just perfect
I read through a lot of descriptions before choosing this one since the price wasn't cheap. I didn't want any kinds of theatrics. Come on, the Bible can stand alone and adding theatrics to it is like telling God His creating style needs to step up a bit. Mr Suchet's impeccable reading is all the listener hears. His God given acting talents do shine through and I feel nobody could do it better, never cheesy, never understated, just perfect. The last point to make the sale final was reading about his commitment to record the complete Bible. You can watch a video about this on YouTube too. I have been enjoying this so much while cooking, folding laundry, sewing. I expect to finish it well before 1 year and start from the beginning immediately. The only possible criticism is from the publisher because they didn't develop a use friendly chaptering system. A reviewer painstakingly wrote it out and if it's important to you, you could find it as I did on the internet.
