When You Stop Believing that Only Dirt is Real
An accessible, yet smart rendering of an alternative worldview from those of dogmatic scientism as well as orthodox religion. Successfully refutes the overall 'deadness' of these two dominant ideologies. How refreshing (and real) it would be to be alive in a living universe and actually abide in that knowledge. It's a rare book that is not only rigorous in its arguments, fun to read, but can be the crack in reality that finally lets some light in.
An Important Book
This book addresses many of the global problems we face in these turbulent times, and offers a paradigm that invites a shift in our consciousness from a mechanistic view of the universe to a living universe. With this approach, we as humans find ourselves embedded in a co-creative, evolving system - everything is alive and interacting. With this point of view, we are challenged to experience ourselves, all of earthly creation, our universe (and perhaps many other universes) as holographic. What we do, how we treat ourselves, others and our beautiful blue planet will determine the success of our species and the future of our world. Every conscious person will relate to this book.
This book truly helped me have a paradigm shift. ...
This book truly helped me have a paradigm shift. The science is not hard to understand. The religion and philosophy mesh with the science. And Duane's personal story that peeks through the pages is phenomenal! The Living Universe brings hope to the current planetary situation through changing our perspective of the planet, the universe, and life itself.
