International Connection Radio has been following the story in Foxton, New Zealand regarding the Horowhenua District Council wanting to shift the Historical Memorial the Cenotaph 10 metres, but this action has upset guardians of the memorial. Robert Ketu says of the decision by the Horowhenua District Council to shift the historical monument 10 metres without consulting the Foxton community is wrong. Supporters say the monument has been on its current location since 1920, it's not only a place to connect with ancestors but to honor the sacrifice made by New Zealanders who died for the country.
