Will always love the likely lads in any format, strong performance's from both lead actors. The storylines are excellent with bob and terry's lives interweaving. Ideal retrospective gift for Christmas of 1970's life before technology demeaned everything!!!

Inaudible more like

Awful, truly awful. Why have they released such a poor quality version of this classic piece of British comedy? The audio in the first section is so inferior it spoils the collection. I cant listen to it. Waste of money.

Volume 3 of comic perfection.

Kevin Eldon might not be a big name, but if you scan the credits to comedy shows from the last 15 years ago, his name will crop quite often. His a very clever, well observed comedy and the surrealistic capabilities of radio are perfect for his razor sharp wit and skill. Anybody who is thinking about buying this, and series 1 and 2, I would say DO IT!!!

magnificent majestic mind blowing auditory treat

Kevin Eldon does not entertain - he beguiles, bewilders, bludgeons and beautifully explores the full potential for; Auditory - Comedic - Exposition - quite simply the guy is ACE.

I sat on the Chuo line, in Tokyo, intending to travel three stops and ended up staying on for over an hour, then an hour back to my original destination ! ...just to stay tuned into the show. Crying with laughter and shaking with joy. Fellow early morning Sunday passengers looked on with concern, the naturally reserved Japanese unable to bring themselves to engage with the bizarrely guffawing gaijin.

The concept, technical precision and the sheer genius comedy of series 1 and 2 has once again moved up a step.

Why Kevin Eldon is not celebrated for the comedic genius he is ... is simply beyond me.

Steptoe and Son.

Firstly I would like to thank Galton and Simpson with out whom 50s 60s and 70s Britain would not have been as blessed as they have been with superb comedy. in Hancock and Steptoe & Son. Sticking with Steptoe and Son Wilfred Bramble and Harry H Corbett play the Father and Son rag and bone men duo to perfection. Series 5 and 6 show them at their peak and this Audio collection is top class. sit back get comfy and enjoy British Comedy at its best .

Galton and Simpson at their absolute best

Classic comedy can always make you laugh

This exceptionally funny father n son duo, the poor rag n bone men, are at their very best in this 5/6 series - has you laughing from beginning to end!

This is British comedy at its very best, like they say, they just dont write stuff like this anymore!

(Prob because 1/4 of it wouldnt be allowed )

If you liked to watch them on tv then you wont be disappointed in this audiobook - u can just close your eyes and imagine, it takes you right back.

Well worth it IF you love a good laugh

Just be aware, some comments/saying MAY offend some ppl, but remember it was filmed back in the 60s!
