What’s the meaning of Christmas? A time not to take but to give? A time to be generous rather than selfish? Yes, Ebenezer Scrooge learned that about Christmas. But what he missed was the central meaning of Christmas.

There was a real life Grinch during the first Christmas. His name was Herod, King Herod. He was a human like you and me. But somewhere along the way his heart became hard. How’s your heart? It’s important to “guard” it (Proverbs 4:23).
