When Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, their eyes were opened to know good as something lost and evil as something they experienced.

Adam and Eve were the most special part of God’s creation. Formed from the dust of the ground, they were both made in the image of God, an image being restored in us.

When God created the world, he created it in six days. When everything was finished, God saw what he made and called it very good.

When we experience hopelessness, the abandoned grave of Jesus gives us hope. He has defeated death and given us life forever!

Whatever happens in our lives, whatever evil attack Satan might unleash, God promises to rescue us and bring us safely into his heavenly kingdom. The apostle Paul encourages us to live our lives with confidence, because we know the final result.

Even in our darkest moments, Christ shines his light in our lives. Our darkness is light to him.

When we experience calamity in this life, Jesus comforts us as he walks by our side with his presence and his promises.

While we know that our Redeemer lives, what do we know of his intentions? In a world as chaotic as this one, how do we know if God is really for us?

We know the pain of crushed hopes. Because Jesus lives, our hope is alive as well. When Jesus is our focus, we look ahead to life forever.
