In love, God has forgiven all our sins. His love for us leads us to be loving and forgiving to others, letting love cover a multitude of sins.

“Love your enemies.” We don’t find that easy to do, do we? Jesus’ love for us is unconditional, and his love moves us to show love to others.

Who doesn’t have troubles in life? God promises that even in those difficulties his grace and blessings abound.

God’s love doesn’t wait for us to meet him halfway. His love, demonstrated in his sacrifice of his own Son, has no strings attached.

Who did Jesus choose for his disciples? Not the best and the brightest, but simple men whom he prepared to proclaim the gospel.

Isn’t heaven going to be boring? Not when we are in the presence of the God who loves us so much that he died to get us home to him.

The more people like us, the more successful we must be, right? Not necessarily. We preach the forgiveness of sins in Jesus and let God’s Word do its work.

Descriptions of heaven most often include what isn’t in heaven more than what heaven will be like. We look forward to a place that is free from the troubles of this world.

God’s Word cuts straight to the heart. Some reject, while others are led to faith. Only the gospel has the power to heal and save.
