Cooper Tyree is a wife, a mom, and a nurse among a LOT of other amazing things. To me, Coop has been a dear friend and a total inspiration on multiple occasions. In today’s episode, she shares her story of how a season that once felt pointless and wasteful was turned into something redemptive, beautiful, and so desperately needed. Everything about Cooper is contagious — from her spirit, to her laugh, to her zeal and passion for people, and I think you will simply ADORE her and love hearing her story!
You can Find Cooper on IG at @RestoreBeautyandAesthetics, and per usual you can find me in my same little corner of the internet at @melissa_chaney!
On Today’s episode, I'm joined by my dear friends Madeleine & Torrence and we’re talking all things race, interracial relationships, and life as a biracial couple amidst one of the most prominent racial moments & movements of our country since we’ve been born. Torrence does an amazing job of offering his knowledge and wisdom on the history of race in our country and its impact on our current world as well as his own personal experiences as a black male, while Madeleine shares her own views & proximity of learning & understanding life as a minority through the eyes and experiences of her husband. And while this conversation is a bit lengthier than most episodes, it might be my favorite one yet. Having the conversations & being willing to listen, learn, and grow has proven to be so WILDLY important in my own life, and I think it will be for many of you, too.
To follow Torrence + Madeleine you can find them on IG @twill322 and @madojung. And as always, you can keep up with me @melissa_chaney on all social media platforms!
Sean Tierney is a husband, a father, a teacher, a coach, a musician, a friend, a mentor, and an inspiration to many. Personally for me, he has been a spearhead in my spiritual growth and relationship with Jesus, and a faithful example of living one's life for the sake of the gospel. He is truly one of the most humble, faithful, kind, and tender-hearted human beings I've had the pleasure of knowing, and every single one of those details oozes from him during this conversation.
In today's episode, Sean shares his story of going from a young, healthy man, traveling the world & expecting his first child with his new wife, to an abrupt change of scenery as he laid alone in a hospital room praying for a second chance at life. His story will -- no doubt -- move you, challenge you, and shift your perspective.

Schuyler Snyder is bright, full of life, kind, and super hilarious. We share a mutual bestie, and from the first time that we met it has felt like we've known each other forever. Aside from being an incredible human, a successful business owner, and a new wife, she is a wild and beautifully bright light. On this episode, Schuyler shares her story on what it was like being adopted, growing up in the USA, and then getting the chance to visit her home country when she was older -- but there's a wild twist that you won't see coming! If you or someone you know has been impacted by adoption or perhaps is considering it, you HAVE to hear her story!
You can find Schuyler on Instagram @schuylerdiana, and as usual you can find me @melissa_chaney!
We asked for questions on Instagram during Adam's episode in January and used them as a "filler" episode for the pod. And since we're all practicing social distancing amidst COVID-19 mayhem, I figured I might as well put this one out into the world!
Rest assured, it is 95% us being our dumb, stupid selves, and 5% some actual wisdom! But nonetheless, it's a new episode, right!?
Check back soon for some new shows -- I've got some really amazing people with really amazing stories lined up for y'all!

Adam Gabbard is hilarious, kind, intentional, wise, witty, and passionate and I have the immense honor to also call him one of my best friends. In today’s episode, Adam shares what it looks like to go against the standards of what culture says is best and in return find massive favor and abundance on his life. His story is incredibly relatable and he is wise beyond his years. No matter your age or season of life, Adam will challenge, convict, and encourage your heart no doubt. In this episode we talk in depth about waiting well for something that may never come to pass, and what it’s like when it finally does. We laugh (a lot), cry a little, and get pretty raw and real when it comes to the struggle of being in a waiting season. She is just the most vulnerable and the most wise and so humble.
To keep up with Jess, follow her on IG @klingerwoman and be sure to let her know what the episode meant to you if you listen! And as always, to keep up with me: @melissa_chaneyMegan Lewin happens to be Mel's BFF among other things -- an amazing wife, incredible mom, founder of a non-profit, foster parent, adoption advocate, nurse, nutritionist, friend, encourager, and all around inspiration to many.
In this episode we go deep with Meg as she recounts walking through the darkest season of her life and the hope & redemption she leaned into through it all. We laugh, we cry, and we talk real-life. It's the first *official* episode and she made it sacred and special and amazing.
