Enjoyed the Dakota's Cowboys

This is the third book Iâve read in the Dakota Heat series and Iâve thoroughly enjoyed all three. However, Dakotaâs Cowboys had me smiling with each page turned. Itâs great to have a story that keeps the reader wanting to catch each and every word; avoiding the temptation to skip parts because âweâve read them all before.â

This story also had a nice balance of serious moments and the humorous ones. I also loved the idea of the heroes as ex-convicts trying to get their life back. There were no multi-million dollars in their back pockets and yet they were just as hot as the rich heroes of other stories, if not hotter. The heroine, Dakota, was also a force to be reckoned with and had plenty of backbone to confront her enemies. The banter between the main characters was very enjoyable. The characters were well-developed with a level of maturity that a reader would appreciate. Their background stories were easily understood without the author having to go into complex details. As soon as I finished reading this story, I read it again. This was well-worth the price and a highly recommended reading.

REREAD 6-10-2017 Loved it again ! Sexy cowboys, interesting story, and terrific characters. A tough female ranch owner who gets her M/F/M passionate ménage, and a HEA. I still recommend this one !

Leah Brooke is a new author for me. I loved this story! She works the characters well, weaves a good story, and you feel connected. It begins a bit fast, but was necessary to the short story. I was so tuned into the erotic sex scenes, I was surprised at myself. I got the other books in this series also. That shows how much I liked them. Recommended. Enjoy!

When I bought the Dakota series I thought that they would all go together one part of the story carried on to another but that isn't the case with this series. This story is good though because it shows no matter how hard life has been love can find a way to help you through it. Joe and Colt are fighting a lot of old demons but Dakota seems to be the angel who can show them a way out. Joe and Colt want Dakota but don't want to dim even one bit of Dakota's light. This is a fight that seems in the beginning that no one will win but in the end it is love that wins the fight.

Title says it all--young man grows up with sexy little sister of his best friend. The story is a quick 90 minute sexual romp. It is graphic and uses sexual terminology, so t's not for the faint of heart .The story line is compelling and flows well.

More of an audio Porno Than an actual storyline

Very poorly written storyline. This "book" should have had a warning attached that it was pure sex and nothing else. Please provide warnings on explicit material such as this. I would not have overpaid the $1.99 had I known this was a story about female clones with penis envy. Also, about a male writer who abuses his audience by calling this legitimate fiction. The writer of this "piece" is obviously an unfortunate and misinformed man who believes that a "storyline" about a female clone with a penis, having sex with a non-clone female is the mecca of sexual pleasure for everyone. Please. Nextime, warn your readers that you are about to bestow upon them garbage.

I have just gone through the audio book "The Accidental Domme". I rarely choose to listen to a story over reading it myself, and I should do it more often. One can more easily let himself get carried away in the story by the rhythm and cadence of spoken prose as one would listen to a good song, provided the narrator is talented. It is so the case here.

This story will appeal especially to those into poney play and piercing. It also dabbles into chastity play, whipping and public play. Some of the scenes appealed to my senses but not all of them. Much effort was put in describing scenes, at the detriment of a deep dive to the feelings and the senses. It was a bit like listening to a visual rendering of an act instead of relating the emotional state of the characters. The storyline was also somewhat too farfetched to my liking, but that is just personal preferences.

I guess I like darker stories with mixed and conflicting emotions, not only mixed sensations. Everybody seemed to be too delighted of living out their fantasies to be true, or to seem realistic. It lacked perspective, yet the writing was strong and fluid, and the narrator's pleasant voice from the audiobook added tempo and sexyness to the overall experience.

The summary about the book made me think that there would be more men in it than there really was. The majority of the book was F/f and pony play. There are quite a few piercings, needle play, and branding. I have never been a fan of branding and it would be better as a tattoo because even if you think you will be with a person forever, it is better to have something that could potentially be removed. The story was mostly focused on the acts that go on and less on the emotional background of the characters that would have made them more enjoyable.

This story was different to what I expected from the brief synopsis. It quickly moves from one of chastity to include, piercing/needle play, branding and pony play. A large part of the story was Femdom F/f play which was a delightful surprise for me.

I was tardy with my review and am struggling to recall the full-story. So I guess that means it wasn't overly memorable :/
