It’s NAIDOC week and the theme is Get Up Stand Up Show Up!We hear from three incredible activists doing just that: Yankunytjatjara-Anangu woman Karina Lester and Kokatha Mula women Sue Coleman-Haseldine and Mia Haseldine presenting at the event ‘From Port Augusta to Vienna with love’. This Nuclear Ban Hub organised by the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons streamed live to Vienna on the 19th June during the first meeting of state parties to the United Nations treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The treaty was adopted by the United Nations in 2017 and achieved the number of ratifications to bring it into force in January 2021.
