Publisher's Summary:
No one wants to celebrate Christmas this year. Not Ella McKendrick, who, on the cusp of success as a potter, is tasked with her husband's company party on too-short notice. She gives up her first pottery sale to pitch in, but the joy of the season is diminished.
Not Gertie Wycliffe, Ella's mom, a new widow who is doing everything she can to avoid her first Christmas alone. No one understands the grief and terror she feels - maybe because the craziness of a 74-year-old woman signing up for skydiving lessons is all she lets them see.
Not Natalie Shaw, Ella's pregnant daughter. Natalie's husband is deployed halfway around the world, and she believes that ignoring the holiday might blunt her loneliness.
Then disaster strikes, not once but twice. Three generations; three untenable situations. Three women who come together for each other and remember what's most important about Christmas.

Heartwarming Multigenerational Story Enriched by the Spirit of Christmas
My age lines up somewhere between the three generations of women who serve as the protagonists of Christmas Grace, but through Leslie Lynch's storytelling, I related to each of them.
Expectant mother Natalie, middle-aged Ella, and grandmotherly Gertie are each challenged by their circumstances and relationships as Christmas approaches. These strong women (and the men who love and support them) withstand every curve life sends them - whether it's loneliness, a health crisis, or the stresses and strains of marriage - but not without a few sharp words and a lot of tears.
Christmas Grace is a heartwarming journey through Advent to the joy of Christmas and its endless possibilities for new life and new love. It's the perfect novella to be read amidst the fuss, family, and frenzy of the holidays - one that will help you recall what and who is most important.

Great characters--fun Christmas read!
This enjoyable novella is a great Christmastime read. Ella has her hands full as she prepares to launch her own line of pottery, and she finds herself having to juggle her recently-widowed mother's dating life, her daughter's complicated pregnancy, and her husband's request that she host an important corporate event on very short notice.
I'd have been happy to read more about these characters, especially Ella's spunky mom, Gertie!
Totally Believable
I was blown away at how much story Leslie Lynch packed into this novella. Stories like this one are made into Hallmark movies. The multi-generation theme touched my heart.
Three women (Mother, daughter, and granddaughter) each deal with their own type of personal loss (recent death, deployment overseas, a dwindling flame in a marriage, and much more) around Christmas time while they attempt to hide their vulnerabilities to the other people in their lives. Each womanâs story is complete from start to end.
This book is a fast read with around 100 pages. I found myself fully vested in each character introduced. The flow/pace of the story is great with no slow spots or rushed scenes.
I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a believable, could-happen-in-real-life type romance.
Little Holiday Magic
A complete story; not a teaser, this little novella packs a lot into a few pages. It was an easy read, but enjoyable. I would like to read more about the characters. Ms.
