Helpful On One Aspect/Topic Of Divorce-EGO!

First, I must give credit to the BRILLIANT Marketing By The Publisher or Author

There are AT LEAST Seven, 15-30 Min. 'Chapters' in this Divorce 'Book' but they must be purchased separately. At $4 per section, the book is $28! The Author/Publisher can add sections forever! Great strategy.

In order to get the full effect of this 17 minute book, I think that one must listen to all of the chapters seven of which are available on audible.

I did find bits of myself in what the author expressed. I think most have an egomaniac in themselves

Bobbin Beam did a professional job with narration.

*This book was given to me in exchange for my review. Again, I would recommend listening to each chapter (very clever marketing, releasing them one at a time) in order and in completion. I will probably not pursue this line any further, simply because I have no use for it.

Unique, thoughtful take on a relationship from both the girl's side and the guy's side

I sat down to read a few pages and didn't look up until I had read the whole thing! The premise (alternating between his perspective and hers) is super compelling, basically dissecting what each person in a relationship was thinking at the same key moments-- it was fascinating and maddening (in a great way!) to see how differently they remembered and interpreted certain things. Kind of like a non-fiction version of the tv show The Affair, but with a younger couple. A fun, thought-provoking, well-written take on a relationship.

Unique "he said, she said" premise made for fast, interesting read

Super interesting, unique premise for a book and a great read. Written as split screen monologues, Your Fault answers and memorializes the constant nagging thought of "I wonder what he/she thought about our interaction" when you first start dating someone. There's a voyeuristic element to the writing as well since you're really getting inside April's and Ryan's heads. (Reading this made me wish, to some extent, I could do a side-by-side analysis of all past relationships.) The book is reminiscent of Gone Girl's "he said, she said" style and its fast-paced, anecdotal writing... sans the murder and sociopathy.

Highly recommended for people on the go!

Another excellent installment from Mr. Larlham. A interesting collection of life's stories told by a genuine storyteller. Chapter 31 is the story of a serviceman at Love Field and it will make you cry and smile. And the best part is that this book is perfect for busy people like me to read short chapters as time permits.

A talented guy who had an amazing major market radio career

Dave Maynard was a most interesting guy: talented, complicated, compassionate and giving. I got to know Dave when I went to work in the last semester of my senior year (1957) in college at WORL. General Manager Arthur Haley hired me as a relief and weekend announcer. Later I had my own show while Dave Maynard had the 2 p.m. DJ spot on this highly rated music station in Boston. I was 20 and Dave was 27. We hit is off from the very beginning and I spent a lot of time with him at the station and socially outside work. I was impressed with his musical knowledge. He was articulate in everything. I went on several of his charity efforts where he was very giving of his time and talents. He left 'ORL before I did for WBZ and then I graduated and went in the Army in Texas. We stayed in touch then and all the years following where my semiconductor business took me to Boston often. Thus our 55 years relationship is something I greatly valued. I'd read his cookbooks so when Suzan Franks came out with "Spin," I couldn't wait to start reading it. This is not a biography but rather a "....in his own words" book. I think the reader gets, however, a real feel of who Dave was through his comments about the people and places in his life. He'd met and interviewed all the 'great ones.' Anyone with the life Dave led has an ego but I felt Dave's was well managed. He was accessible which is obvious from his descriptions of his famous people interviews. I recommend this book to anyone who was a listener of Dave or a watcher of "Community Auditions." For those that didn't have this opportunity, this book offers some special insights into celebrities we all know. Franks was a good listener and recorder of Dave's thoughts. This is a breezy read and a lot of fun. As a matter of fact, "it's a piece of cake!" Buy it!
