What was the last big mess up you made? Does it still sit with you? (I honestly just made a big one! Haha)
Our minds have the ability to keep us focused on the past. We replay situations, over and over, trying to figure out where things went wrong. If you’re like me, this happens all too often.
Maybe the mind pulls this trick on you in real-time and negative thoughts plague your daily life. Did you know we have anywhere from 60,000 to 80,000 thoughts a day? Yea... Imagine how many of them are negative.
Just think about the relief and calm we can enjoy by simply letting these things go... Seriously... This is your permission to switch things up!
The challenge though is making this a daily practice.
Trust me. I know how hard it is. I’m still working on this myself.
De'Andre Presley has tasted what it’s like to perform under intense pressure. When you’re playing football at the highest level of competition, it’s important to analyze everything! It’s also important not to over-analyze.
Whether it was in college, the NFL or in the transition into “civilian life,” DeAndre would have to constantly shift his mindset and focus on the next play. It’s something we all should work on in our lives.
