EMPIRE OF WEALTH railroad inventors The creation of the railroad was extremely complicated beginning hundreds of years ago.   It was discovered that a larger loads could be pulled over rails is how railroads began.  The use of wood rails and horses or oxen transported ore from mines to shipping points.  There is a form of a “Moore’s Law”, which states “over time the number of transistors on integrated circuits doubles approximately every two years that applies to railroads with time frames measured in decades.  The short answer is that railroads were not invented by a single person but many innovators over decades.  Questions or comments email David@GDTB. Starting in 1903 as the M.H.
