Don’t use the ambient mic on the camera. Use a lavalier or shotgun mic. If you want to use a wireless lavalier, get UHF wireless. It’s more expensive but you won’t get interference from cell phones and CB Radios. If you’re using your phone, you’ll need an adapter. Shotguns work best for certain situations and offer better quality.
