Caitlin is an aspiring doula and mother of 2 wildlings living in the Pacific Northwest. Through her two vastly different birth stories, she learned about the limitations of regulated midwifery, to trust her intuition above all else, and that doctors don’t always know what’s best. Her birth stories offer an important lesson on the value of autonomy, informed choice, and not taking ‘no’ for an answer.
