The advice to “just trust the system” falls apart fast when you’ve already been gaslit by doctors, pressured toward induction, and made to feel like your own body can’t be trusted. Audrey, a Radical Birth Keeper graduate and freebirth entrepreneur, assumed that she would never have children. But when she found herself pregnant in her thirties, she quickly opted out of the obstetrical track.
