Miles Dewey Davis III (May 26, 1926 – September 28, 1991) was an American trumpeter, bandleader, and composer. He is among the most influential and acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music. Davis adopted a variety of musical directions in a five-decade career that kept him at the forefront of many major stylistic developments in jazz.

Bitches Brew is the twenty-seventh full-length studio album by American jazz trumpeter Miles Davis, released on March 30, 1970 on Columbia Records. It marked his continuing experimentation with electric instruments that he had featured on his previous record, the critically acclaimed In a Silent Way (1969). With these instruments, such as the electric piano and guitar, Davis departed from traditional jazz rhythms in favor of loose, rock-influenced arrangements based on improvisation.

The album initially received a mixed response, but it gained momentum and became Davis's highest-charting album on the U.S. Billboard 200, peaking at No. 35. In 1971, it won a Grammy Award for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album.In 1976, it became Davis' first gold album to be certified by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Tony Valentino, is a co-founder and guitarist of the 1960’s garage band “The Standells.” He created the famous guitar riff for the classic song, “Dirty Water” (played after every victory and at the home games for the Boston Celtics and the Red Sox. Originally born in Italy, Tony is an honorary citizen of Massachusetts.

He has toured with The Rolling Stones, The Dave Clark Five, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Otis Redding, and others. Tony had the pleasure of being produced by Sonny Bono and appeared on The Munsters television show, “Far Out Munsters.” He co-wrote and performed on the pioneering punk song “Riot on Sunset Strip” – and is known by many as the “Godfather of Punk Rock”.

Le Sony'r Ra(born Herman Poole Blount, May 22, 1914 – May 30, 1993), better known as Sun Ra, was an American jazz composer, bandleader, piano and synthesizer player, and poet known for his experimental music, "cosmic" philosophy, prolific output, and theatrical performances. For much of his career, Ra led "The Arkestra", an ensemble with an ever-changing name and flexible line-up.

Though his mainstream success was limited, Sun Ra was a prolific recording artist and frequent live performer, and remained influential throughout his life for his music and persona.He is now widely considered an innovator; among his distinctions are his pioneering work in free improvisation and modal jazz and his early use of electronic keyboards and synthesizers.Over the course of his career, he recorded dozens of singles and over one hundred full-length albums, comprising well over 1,000 songs, making him one of the most prolific recording artists of the 20th century.

Richard Suligowski (born December 28, 1955), better known today as Rik Fox, is an American heavy metal bassist. He was active mainly during the 1970s and 1980s, in the New York City and Hollywood area rock and metal scenes

Through acting, he eventually became involved with the Renaissance Faire scene, and military timeline events such as the Old Fort MacArthur Days[9] where he actively sought and succeeded to bring the noticeably absent Polish 17th century military history into the forefront. Fox has been referred to by many Polish media correspondents and others as a 'recognized pioneer' in this venture, of creating the first representation in the U.S., of the Polish winged hussar cavalry of central Europe which, apparently, is a part of his ancestry. Polish 17th century military author Bartosz Musialowicz had interviewed him and written an article about Rik, dubbing him with the honorary title of 'The First Saber of the U.S.' for founding and creating the first officially recognized representation of the Polish winged hussar cavalry in American history. Apart from being an internationally recognized rock musician, it is of interest to note that Rik is the first Polish-American of Polish noble (not 'royal') ancestry, to 'formally', represent the Polish Winged Hussar cavalry in U.S. history. Rock On Press/Polish Origin Among other accomplishments, Fox had been nominated as the vice-president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Polish American Congress, in which he served a 4-year term augmenting his position in accomplishing raising Polish Historic Awareness and Culture with some recognition of his efforts by the Polish Consul in Los Angeles. He then stepped aside a second-term for family-related reasons.

Built around the long-standing partnership between singer Cyndi Dawson, and guitarist Henry Seiz, The Cynz have been a staple on Manhattan’s Lower East Side for over a decade, having released 4 albums, and a number of singles. 2021 saw the release of their 4th collection, “Karmic Destiny”, on Fishpuppy Records, which features contributions from Arno Hecht (The Uptown Horns), and Harrisburg’s Michael Giblin (The Split Squad/Minus 5). Steeped in classic NYC influences, like The Ramones, Dead Boys, and Patti Smith, The Cynz bring a dynamic, literate spin to the venerable NYC punk aesthetic.

 

Recently, The Cynz have been enjoying college radio airplay and on Sirius XM Little Steven’s Underground Garage Radio’s Channel 21 on the Rodney Bingenheimer, Genya Ravan, Palmyra Delran, Bill Kelly and Speedy John Carlucci shows.  

 

The Cynz are excited about their tour of Sweden in early February 2022 and are busy writing songs for their next album.

UFO are an English rock band that was formed in London in 1968.They became a transitional group between early hard rock and heavy metal and the new wave of British heavy metal. The band's current lineup includes vocalist Phil Mogg, lead guitarist Vinnie Moore, rhythm guitarist and keyboardist Neil Carter, bass guitarist Rob De Luca, and drummer Andy Parker. They have gone through several line-up changes, leaving Mogg as the only constant member, and had two hiatuses (1983–1984 and again from 1989 to 1991). The band are also notable for featuring former Scorpions guitarist and MSG founder Michael Schenker, who was a member of UFO from 1973 to 1978 and again, occasionally, between 1993 and 2003, when Moore replaced him. In May 2018, Mogg announced that he would retire from UFO after one last tour as a member of the band in 2019;however, the band plans to resume their farewell tour in 2022.

Veronica Yvette Greenfield (née Bennett; August 10, 1943 – January 12, 2022), known professionally as Ronnie Spector, was an American singer. Referred to as the original "bad girl of rock and roll", she was the lead singer of the girl group the Ronettes.

Ronnie formed a singing group, the Darling Sisters, with her elder sister, Estelle Bennett, and their cousin, Nedra Talley in the late 1950s. Later known as the Ronettes, they were signed to Phil Spector's Philles label and he produced the majority of their recording output. The Ronettes' had a string of hits in the 1960s, including "Be My Baby" (1963), "Baby, I Love You" (1963), "(The Best Part of) Breakin' Up" (1964) and "Walking in the Rain" (1964).
