In this episode Marg gets vulnerable talking about her recent experience with seasonal affective disorder or SAD. SAD is a mental illness that affects Canadians at a rate of 2-3% severely and 15% mildly. It can be characterized by troubles sleeping or over sleeping, changes in appetite, weight gain, feeling guilty, sad, down or hopeless, and avoiding actives one used to enjoy. We are particularly vulnerable to it in Canada (especially on the west coast) where sunny days are few and far between this time of year.
