We've finally made the move we've been contemplating for over a year now. Listen on to for some tips on moving and hear our experience making the move from Newcastle to Sydney, Australia.
Some of us think we need it, so we buy it, but some of us ask ourselves the question, "Do I really need this?" and if we do, we either choose to get it then and there or reward ourselves when the time comes.
Taken from our original conversation with our friend and first guest Yang, we talk about the stuff we've lived with growing up thanks to our moms and think about how everything we buy aren't necessarily things we need.
Do you look back and say, "I'm glad I did that" or "If I didn’t do that I wouldn't be here"? Do you sometimes question your purpose in life?
Our first guest Yang Chen joins us in talking about "existential dread", how things could have been and how we should always keep trying by making the most of now.
Yang (Sunny) Chen came to Australia in 2014 from China. She did a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of Newcastle and is now a nurse in Newcastle, Australia.
We think it's good to start as soon as you can, especially when it comes to building good habits that will benefit you in the long run.
Join our discussion about the situation of our bank accounts when we started working and why it's important to adopt good money habits early on. We also get into how we spend now, plus share our homemade McFlurry recipe!
We all know social media can be very addictive, especially when it comes to external validation through likes from applications like Facebook or Instagram. In this episode, we talk about our experiences with external validation, habits that helped us reduce our time spent on social media, and how we should always try our best to compare ourselves to who we used to be, instead of comparing ourselves to others!
We must admit, pasta and all the yummy fast food are well, yummy! But we've learned that quick and tasty shouldn't always be an option even in the busiest time of our lives.
Listen on to hear Sora and Sharlene's old food habits as students and why they're working on changing the way they pick and choose the food they eat.
