We're BACK for season 2!
It's been a long few months between chats but we're back and bigger and badder than ever.
In today's episode we jump straight into the deep end - that's right, we're talking about numbing our emotions. It's something most people do habitually, yet it's rarely spoken about. Numbing our feelings can be so much easier than feeling them - feelings are difficult and often scary. They're draining and sometimes leave us feeling raw and vulnerable.
In this episode, we open up about the ways we personally numb our feelings - something that we both have in common is binge drinking. We binge drink when we're happy, we binge drink when we're stressed and sad. Hell, sometimes we'll binge drink because it's a weekend and that's what you do on a weekend.
Lizzie takes us through her escalating drinking before and then surprisingly after getting married and Sarah opens up about drinking away her work stress and the vicious cycle that comes from it - drink to feel better, feel worse because you're hungover, drink to feel better. Wash, rinse, repeat.
