Getting paid as a filmmaker can sometimes be tough but with a little know-how, you can become a professional filmmaker. Sending estimates and invoices is all a part of running and operating your video production business. Whether you're a production team or a solo cinematographer, getting paid for your work is essential to making your passion a sustainable lifestyle.
Estimates- An educated guess as to how much the video project will cost in total.
Quote- A near-final summation of cost for the project. The quote states exact amount that you will expect to be paid.
Invoice- A bill of services rendered. This is the final bill stating to the client how much they owe your production company.

My Life Story (sort of)- http://bit.ly/jpa_mylife
I can remember picking up my family's video camera as a teenager and being enthralled that I could make an impact in someone's life. The filmmaking process is complex but at the heart of it simple: tell a compelling story.
What resonates the hardest is visual storytelling. The ability to create an emotion or convey an idea through an image is what drives my career as a filmmaker. My marathon mentality is focused on becoming the best cinematographer possible.
