As the first day of school looms, schools are facing a number of obstacles to tackle before they begin. For starters it was recently reported that the Boston Public Schools system has over 200 teacher vacancies they are looking to fill. This comes at a time when the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education just voted to increase score requirements on the MCAS test. Jordan discussed the challenges schools are currently facing as they head towards the new school year.
