Getting Under The Skin Podcast

Fresh off there weekend at the legendary Gas Station (the filming location of The Texas chainsaw massacre . Where they were repping the G.U.T.S. team and Dread Central for last weekends horror convention. Actor C.J. Graham (Jason Voorhees in Jason Lives) was the headliner for the weekend.  He was such a good dude we figured why not do an episode on the movie. So here it is.

Zombies have held a special place in the world of horror since the birth of the genre. When Night of the living dead hit the scene, it blew a hole in our brains. A hole that has since, been getting refilled by virtually every form of movie-making. Be it big-budget cinema, or indy film, and even binge-able TV. Whether it's the slow heard of brain seekers. Or the fast-running dead bundles of rage. Zombies have been the perfect delivery system of virtually any storyline. With so many to choose from. Nailing down our top 3 was tuff. But here we go.

This week on G.U.T.S. we got Barry Kinyon from Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. Being that TCM 2. is so iconic, it was a blast having him tell us all the crazy stories from back in the day. From getting bloody by the hand of the great Tom Savini, to being directed by the GOAT himself Tobe Hooper. He spills it all. Plus a break down of the 2010 Irish film OutCast

These days a really good, big-budget, horror movie is a rare find. So when we come across one it leaves an impact. We looked forward to the 2020 release of spell for quiet a while. This turned out to be a rare case that our anticipation was met with total satisfaction. Check out our breakdown on this episode of G.U.T.S.
