This episode is about mental conditioning. We think the thoughts we have don't come with external consequences. That isn't entirely true. Every day we are likely conditioning ourselves to react in a specific way, and we probably don't even realize it. Are those reactions positive or negative, and how can I change them if I need to?
Often times I find myself seeking happiness. Something happens that in turn makes me happy. . . but when those circumstances change, or are taken away, what then am I left with? Is happiness just temporary? Really, it's just an emotion. So what goes deeper than happiness? Fulfillment.
Idealistic: something we feel we would prefer or a standard we set for a specific categorization.
Deterministic: What we have absolutely decided to do.
How do these two affect our daily decisions?
Often times, when we are amidst the waves of a storm, we can only see our immediate surroundings. Just beyond the storm is a peacefulness left for us to reach as we pass beyond them.
