Brockton’s own Jean Elie stopped by to visit the GetUp Crew. Elie is an actor/writer/producer who played Issa’s brother on the HBO hit show Insecure, and currently has a series called Send Help on the AllBLK channel. We talked to him about moving to LA to pursue his dream, the research he did for playing a gay man on Insecure, and finally being able to tell his story about the aftermath of his brother being killed and channeling it into Send Help.
